Permanent Welder Opportunity
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Salary: Up to $52,000, based on experience
Hours: 2nd Shift 1:30 Pm - 10:00PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder for a manufacturing firm in Santa Ana. The role involves reading blueprints, drawings, and taking measurements to accurately plan and layout welding procedures. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with the ability to produce and operate machinery while maintaining quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various sheet metal parts.
- Follow work orders, drawings, and verbal/written instructions.
- Monitor and uphold quality standards for all products.
- Conduct inspections as part of quality control.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety.
- Proficiently use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
- Execute TIG welding on aluminum and stainless-steel parts.
- Complete complex welding projects.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
- Push up to 40 lbs max when required.
- Walk (10%), remain stationed (70%), kneel, squat, or bend (20%) as necessary.
Skills
- MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.
- Certified Welder.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 years of welding experience in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with production and manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed.
- Team player mindset.
