Job Title: Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Position Overview:
One of the leading management firms in the U.S., with headquarters in Los Angeles and offices in Boston, Chicago, New York, Orlando, and Philadelphia, is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR). This individual will play a critical role in partnering with senior leadership, including department heads, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, President, and the Chairman & CEO, to develop and lead the HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the development of the HR department, managing a team of HR staff.
  • Establish and implement HR processes, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with state, federal, and labor laws.
  • Oversee and manage benefits administration and payroll processing for 80 employees.
  • Provide strategic HR leadership, partnering with senior leadership to align HR practices with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management processes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Expertise in HR processes, systems, and compliance with state, federal, and labor laws.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior leadership.
  • Experience in benefits administration and payroll processing.
  • Ability to lead and manage HR staff effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Compensation:
  • Salary range: $200K - $250K, depending on experience and tenure with past employers.
