Summary of Role:

The Vendor Manager will be part of Transformation Enablement Office (TEO) of Program Phoenix, a global transformation program. The Vendor Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the vendor relationships including quality, selection, contract management and ownership of the demand management process.

About Program Phoenix: Program Phoenix is a multi-year initiative that has been established to create a real-time enterprise built on a common data model, global processes, and seamless data flow, enabling operational efficiency and scalability. The Program will involve a green field implementation of S/4 HANA, PLM Teamcenter and CRM MS-Dynamics across five releases.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drives alignment with and across implementation partners and ensures alignment to SOWs, RACIs and deliverables
  • Provides continuous bi-directional feedback loop with vendors, sharing insights with governance, controls and execution teams to modify approaches as needed
  • Resolve vendor disputes or issues quickly and efficiently
  • Provide visibility, analytics and recommendations around vendor spend and performance to help facilitate strategic decisions
  • Leads development and alignment of new or changed SOWs
  • Evaluates vendor capabilities, experience, and expertise to ensure alignment with program requirements
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with vendors, co-workers and subordinates.
  • Research and establish relationships with new vendors when necessary
  • Drafts and negotiates contracts, ensuring that all necessary terms and conditions are included in the best interest of Program Phoenix and the budget
  • Reviews and updates existing vendor contracts to accommodate program business needs and legal requirements
  • Owns the demand management process, identifying and prioritizing the program's vendor-related requirements
  • Organize and track all documentation between GlobalFoundries and vendors
  • Implement a robust performance management process for vendors, encompassing regular evaluations, transparent communication, metric tracking, and proactive issue resolution to maintain optimal service quality and adherence to agreements
  • Minimize risk of vendor engagements
  • Provide clear, concise and accurate senior management updates

Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  • Working with technology managers to support the execution and implementation of projects (e.g., scope, schedule, budget, and quality management).
  • Ensuring overall project tracking, planning, coordination and status reporting to the various stakeholders (including Senior Management) using effective communication channels
  • Provide support upon request to specific projects in the production of key deliverables
  • Ensuring compliance with TIAA Operational Risk requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications:
  • Education - Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience - Minimum 5 years of progressive IT project management experience with 3-4 years of vendor management experience
  • PMP Certified
  • Proven experience in vendor management. Contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor selection criteria
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to foster strong and collaborative relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication and partnership
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working within the large technology transformation initiatives
  • Travel - Up to 10%
  • Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Operating with sensitivity and respect within difficult situations
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite include PowerPoint Presentation
  • Self-organized and structured
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to deliver results
  • Advanced Excel - Macros, VLookups, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc.
  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education - Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Program Management, or related discipline is preferred
  • CSM Certification
  • Experience - 10+ years' experience in program/ project management
  • 5+ years of experience in a semi-conductor foundry
  • 5+ years people leadership & career development
  • Experience in semiconductor industry a plus

Expected Salary Range
$103,000.00 - $208,100.00
