Job Title: User Experience (UX) Designer

Location - Urbandale, IA (Remote)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will leverage user experience research insights and recommendations to accelerate discussions and decisions early in the product development process. You will apply internal/external standards and best practices to create tangible visualizations that serve as the blueprint for product teams to turn concepts into solutions, ensuring consistency with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and design high-quality user experience designs, incorporating branding and common design guidelines into products
• Develop wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and specifications to support product development
• Maintain style guides for varying methods of delivery
• Conduct user-centered design using design methodology, tools, and protocols
• Translate analytics data into visual designs to support interpretation and generation of insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Marketing, or a related field (4 years or equivalent experience)
• 1-3 years of product design experience
• 1-3 years of work experience in a team environment
• 1-3 years of internal or external industry-specific experience in a relevant discipline
• Less than 1 year of experience facilitating workshops on specific needs for the job, discipline, function, unit, etc.

Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of core user interface languages
• Technical skill and knowledge in a specialized area of engineering (e.g., design, analysis, test, evaluation)
• Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to deliver production-ready, clean, and usable digital user interfaces across multiple form factors
