Job Description
Join our traffic team in Monroe, WI, and embark on a career that merges the satisfaction of hands-on work with the fulfillment of driving! We're on the lookout for a truck driver to join our traffic operations. This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment that values dedication and attention to detail.
As the truck driver, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards in driving and safety. You will haul product from plant to plant, switches trailers to start and end of the day, and travel to out of town plants and fill in for long distance drivers as needed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Imparting safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all
- Operating a straight truck, yard spotter and a tractor/trailer
- Inspecting your truck each day before the trip begins.
- Switching trailers at start and end of the day
- Performing warehouse functions
Qualifications:
We need a proactive self-starter who thrives on autonomy and adheres to procedures with precision. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and have an eye for safety, we want you!
- High school diploma or equivalent,
-2+ years' CDL experience
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to make decisions independently
