Job Description Summary
Temporarily provide administrative support to Principal Investigators, Directors, and members of Clinical Cell and Vaccine Production Facility (CVPF), Translational and Correlative Studies Laboratory (TCSL), Product Development Laboratory (PDL), and Human Genome Editing Laboratory (HGEL) and The Center for Cellular Immunotherapies (CCI) at the University of Pennsylvania. Duties include keeping calendars for Principal Investigators (PI's) and Directors, arranging meetings/interviews, taking minutes for meetings, maintaining document records, data collection, coordination of progress reports, coordinating travel arrangements (internal and external, providing schedules), submitting expense reports, maintaining current NIH and Penn CVs/biosketches. South Pavilion 9th floor coordination and organization which includes: mail and shipping supplies, office supplies, office equipment, conference rooms and cafe areas, CVPF, TCSL, PDL and HGEL website maintenance. Acting as a liaison between CVPF, TCSL, POL, HGEL and The Center for Cellular Immunotherapies. Supporting labs with receiving deliveries and inventory. This position assures the smooth operation of CCI's day-to-day business and administrative needs.
Job Description
Provide administrative support to the Clinical Cell and Vaccine Production Facility quality assurance program. In the Clinical Cell and Vaccine Production Facility quality assurance program, robust documentation management and quality compliance plays a critical role as the CVPF adheres to GLP and GMP standards and is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy. This position includes documentation management and verification which includes ensuring the efficient retrieval, filing, and organization of critical and sensitive patient and clinical manufacturing and analytic documentation. This also includes assigning, and maintaining Eternal Report, and CVPF Correspondences. Here, a multi-pronged approach is followed: Executed Batch Records
(EBRs) are scanned and electronically archived on the CVPF Controlled Shared Drive for easy access and retrieval. Additionally, paper copies of EBRs are meticulously organized in designated cabinets for physical reference. To ensure long-term record retention and compliance, the program facilitates the secure shipment of a portion of these documents to an off-site storage facility. This comprehensive system of Good Documentation Practices guarantees the integrity and accessibility of vital batch documentation, fostering a data-driven quality assurance environment.
This is not a hybrid eligible position. This position will be on site 5 days a week, 8am-5pm.
