RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Kforce client located in Warwick, Rhode Island (RI) is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. The client has beautiful offices with leadership exposure to all employees. They offer attractive compensation package, 401(K) plan, Profit Sharing, PTO, and holidays off.Duties:- Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax compliance and reporting activities of the client
- Develop and implementing tax strategies to minimize the organization's tax liabilities
- Ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Review and file tax returns
- Advise management on tax implications of business decisions
- Assist in tax planning and forecasting activities
- As a Tax Manager, you will assist with tax audits and resolve tax disputes
- Tax research - staying up to date with changing tax laws
- Manage relationship with extern al tax advisors and auditors
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of technical tax experience in public accounting
- Experience with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite: UltraTax CS and AdvanceFlow
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Ethical judgement
- Leadership abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Communication skills - strong verbal and written
- Attention to details
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
