JOB DESCRIPTION

Shaner has an opportunity for a Tax Accountant to provide leadership to our growing team at the Corporate Office located in State College, Pennsylvania.

Job Requirements

  • Income tax preparation and planning with a primary focus in partnership taxation.
  • Preparation of sales, use, and hotel occupancy tax filings.
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think both creatively and logically.
  • Proven attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple products simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
  • Proficient with ProSeries tax software, Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks.
  • 1+ years of related work experience. An Associate's degree in accounting is preferred.
