Tax Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical expertise in tax law and a passion for providing high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations
• Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
• Advise clients on tax strategies and deductions to minimize tax liability
• Work with the team to manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and developments
• Help with the preparation of financial statements and other accounting duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation (preferred) or working towards certification
• Minimum of 2-3 years of tax accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Proficient in tax software (e.g., ProSeries, UltraTax, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
