Medium-sized General Contractor based in DC, this firm has grown rapidly over the last decade and have a strong foundation in Education & Public works projects. They are now growing their multifamily division. Projects range between $30-100m and have won many awards for excellence on projects through industry networks. All projects are based in the DC metro area.

Your new role

As a Superintendent within this GC, you will be responsible for running and managing base-build projects within the Education, Public Works or Multifamily sectors depending on your project experience. You will be responsible for:

• Developing project logistics
• Developing and managing project health & safety plans and measures
• Coordinating material deliveries
• Maintaining project master schedules and 3-week lookaheads
• Working in accordance to plans, specifications and local codes & regulations
• Handling subcontractor relationships and scheduling works

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for the position, you must have:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent for a commercial construction General Contractor
• Project experience should include values above $40m
• Experience with either Education, Public Works, Multifamily or similar base build structures
• OSHA 30
• Advanced scheduling experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
