Volt is immediately hiring for Stamping Setup Tech.

As a Stamping Setup Tech, you will:

• Install and set stamping dies in presses and qualify through FAI.
• Setups may include auxiliary equipment such as clean lines, oil systems, payoffs, smart packs, and take-ups.
• Pull stamping dies from the press when in need of maintenance or repair.
• Reset tools in the stamping press after maintenance or repair work has been completed.
• Use troubleshooting skills and work with other setup technicians, operators and/or tool maintenance personnel to address unacceptable reject levels, resolve process or tooling problems, and develop a more robust and repeatable stamping setup process.
• Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner.
• Assist in the creation, modification or standardization of existing work procedures to include setup sheets.

This is a Full Time Contact opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 to 4 years of Stamping experience, preferably in support of the Automotive or Electronics Industry.

Location: Rumford, RI

Pay Rate: $24.00-25.00/hr.
