The Senior Production Support Associate will support or lead all Safety, Quality and continuous improvement initiatives and programs in manufacturing. This position is part of the MFG Production Support team and will be onsite in Lodi. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Serve as Manufacturing Gemba point person for implementing changes, corrective actions and ensure horizontal deployment across all shifts.
• Audit existing processes and systems to assess and determine actions required for Safety, Quality and Productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with DBS, Production Managers and leadership to recommend kaizen opportunities and support sustainment activities.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years of relevant experience
• At least 2+ years of experience working in a regulated industry (GMP, ISO, FDA)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Proven track record of leading initiatives and taking immediate action.
• Strong knowledge of DBS tools, 5S, Kaizen and Gemba

The hourly range for this role is $29 - $40. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
