Sr. Product Manager, Clinical Supply Forecast and Logistics

The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, development, and execution of clinical supply forecasting and logistics applications. This role requires experience in Interactive Response Technology (IRT) and strong product management skills, including proficiency with Jira. You will play a critical role in managing applications that are integral part of clinical trials, ensuring alignment between product development and business objectives.

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer feedback, business value, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, etc.) to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Utilize Jira for product backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking progress.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of IRT systems to enhance product functionality and user experience.
  • Implement advanced forecasting models to predict supply needs for clinical trials.
  • Design solutions to optimize inventory levels to ensure timely and cost-effective supply chain management.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Author or co-author essential documents, including epics, user stories, functional and design documents, Configuration Specifications, Test Plans, Work Instructions, and SOPs.
  • Assist in creating test plans and detailed test cases to ensure functional requirements are met.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed to confirm that software implementations meet business needs.

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, specifically in digital products within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Working knowledge of how the material forecasting works.
  • In-depth knowledge of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems.
  • Experience working in clinical trial, drug delivery environment.
  • Proficiency with Jira for product management and Agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • First-hand knowledge of technology in a GxP environment and an understanding of data integrity requirements for clinical trials.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously, with experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Extensive experience with clinical trial data flow, processes, and standardization.
  • Proficiency in Computerized System Validation (CSV) and a thorough understanding of global regulatory requirements for data privacy and protection (GDPR).
  • Ability to leverage data as a strategic asset to drive operational efficiency and generate innovative insights to expedite processes.
  • Expertise in Product Management operating principles and tools, including JIRA, Persona Definitions, Road mapping, and the hierarchy of Initiative: Epic: Story.
  • Ability to work independently while proactively engaging with team members, colleagues, and stakeholders to achieve alignment and drive solutions forward.
