Pay Range: $52.48/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports and administers firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Reports network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
• Performs basic configuration of firewalls.
• Provides remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
• Provides remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
• Communicates with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture. '
• Undertakes data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
• Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
• Upgrades data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Configures routing and switching equipment.
• Configures hosted IP voice services.
• Performs capacity management and auditing of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers.
• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Designs and implements new solutions and improves resilience of current environment.
• Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Communicates with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
