As the Sr. Director Reporting & Insights, you'll be responsible for leading a team that delivers the effectiveness and return on investment of our campaigns. You'll analyze campaign performance an develop industry leading ways of enhancing and evolving our reporting to provide customers with various layers of campaign performance & effectiveness. Additionally, you'll provide performance reporting and translate data sets into actionable results that align with growth objectives. Your role will involve identifying trends and recommending optimizations to drive business results. You'll identify new partners, tools, and advanced capabilities that accelerate the work with do in this area of the business.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at a new Best Buy Ads office in Midtown Manhattan and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. Please note that the exact office location has not yet been determined. It is expected to open sometime in early 2025
What you'll do
Obtain metrics to analyze the effectiveness and ROI of advertising campaigns
Analyze digital media usage to identify optimization opportunities
Provide performance reporting and translate data sets into actionable results
Find ways to incorporate Best Buy's 1P audience graph to enrich the insights we can provide
Identify trends and opportunities for business growth
Basic qualifications
7+ years in reporting & insights, preferably with retail media and/or performance-based reporting skills
5+ years experience leading research / measurement teams, working well cross-functionally with sales, product, tech teams to align on goals
Ability to derive Insights for Clients and Industry white papers from multiple data sources
Preferred qualifications
Strong knowledge of retail media ecosystem with an eye towards innovative partnerships, tools and capabilities as we think about our long term strategy.
Experience identifying and developing relationships with data partners across the industry.
