Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing our financial processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for driving financial excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily and month-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, State, Federal, and CHAP regulations.
• Prepare/review journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist in financial reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Manage process documentation and lead improvement initiatives.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required); CPA (preferred).
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial statement preparation.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite preferred); healthcare/hospice industry experience preferred.
