Senior Technical Analyst (Cyber Security)
Type: Contract-to-Hire
We're seeking a Senior Technical Analyst with a strong background in cyber security to join a forward-thinking team. In this role, you'll ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information and data assets while proactively identifying and mitigating threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve cyber security issues using industry tools and best practices.
Develop and maintain security procedures to protect information assets.
Research emerging threats and analyze trends to predict future risks.
Support incident response efforts, occasionally requiring extended hours (weekends/holidays).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
2+ years in a security-focused role with knowledge of core cyber security concepts (e.g., CIA Triad).
Experience in incident response, forensic analysis (host or network), and risk analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with PowerShell or Python is a plus.
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CHFI, GIAC, or Security+) are highly desirable.
