RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist in Germantown, MD.Duties Include:- Senior Payroll Specialist will support bi-weekly payroll runs
- Maintain employee information for payroll
- Protect the business against unintentional overpayments
- Address all invoices that failed to be released through EASI
- Work closely with the Drop Ship team on open invoices and credits
- Reconcile and process year end returns, and system generated accruals
- As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will update Credit log to track returns and credits by Vendor
- Process non-inventory related credits provided by the Accounting team
- Assist in the company audit and any client audits that come up throughout the year
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Experience in account reconciliation
- Working knowledge of Costpoint 8.1
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data entry skills with ability to reconcile differences
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
