Job Title: Senior Operations Support Specialist (3.8 - Ops Lead)

Rivet has multiple opportunities on our growing Marine Corps Systems Command professional support services team spanning program and acquisition management, logistics, finance, contracts, engineering, IT, data, and other DoD acquisition command professional service requirements.

Duties:

Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Senior Operations Support Specialist provides professional acquisition operations support to a large Marine Corps Portfolio front office. Manage the full lifecycle of taskers assigned to, and created by, the assigned government area of responsibility (AOR) in the designated government tasker system. Participate in weekly operations meetings with the USMC Government Operations Officer to coordinate operational tasks and events, and to ensure that operations at work locations comply with USMC and Command directives.

Additionally, the Senior Operations Support Specialist is a Task Lead which fulfills a few roles:

• As a prime contract's Task Lead, be the primary point of contact for the supported customer Task Lead and related customer stakeholders. Be customer-service oriented, proactive, responsive, and effective in handling all customer communications and issues.
• As the Task Lead, provide vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of task-level performance, including subcontractors. Empower every individual to succeed in achieving exceptional customer outcomes. Support the synchronization of contractor personnel at different levels of the organization.
• As a Rivet supervisor, empower your team to not only to be successful, but also to set the standard for professional excellence for our subcontractor partners and our competitors.

Compensation Minimum: $106,00.00

Compensation Maximum: $134,400.00

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Ten years of DoD acquisition operations support preferably with one or more years for a Marine Corps Acquisition office.
• Experience in the direct supervision of professionals.
• Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to initiate plans, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook).

Education or Certification:

• Bachelor's degree preferred

Security:

• Requires the applicant to pass the security clearance requirement for the position.
  Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.
Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
