What you'll do...
At Walmart, we strive to maximize customer value and drive Every Day Low Cost. This position will support our core merchandising team through analyses, preparation, and execution to maximize joint value from our supplier relationships.
You will be a part of a team that consults with business owners to identify their needs and opportunities and provides Merchants with supplier analyses to help develop the appropriate strategy using best practices. Execution support may include developing communication plans and tracking outcomes to improve business performance and organization capabilities over time.
In this role, you will drive deep understanding of EDLC and key supplier programs, and you will lead efforts to improve visibility aligned with business priorities. To accomplish this, you will recommend and facilitate alignment on business requirements by being the main liaison between the Supplier Excellence team and the Merchandising Transformation organization. Other responsibilities include enabling change management for the Merchandising organization and rollout of new tools that support our strategy.

- Leading the execution of multiple business plans by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
- Developing, prioritizing, and executing key business strategies and communication platforms by managing cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes; making recommendations for system support developments; recommending merchandise priorities for store operations; providing insight to senior management and other business partners on key issues and opportunities to drive the business; and translating merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs for store operations.

- Ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and support community outreach events.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
