Job Summary

The Senior Creative Studio Manager will plan, develop, and execute a creative vision to ensure Zeus and its associated companies maintain a unified, consistent, and positive corporate identity. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, this role will lead the in-house creative studio team and third-party vendors as they manage and oversee multiple projects, resources, stakeholders, and simultaneous deadlines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a fresh creative vision that elevates the company's brand through impactful storytelling and modern visuals
  • Working cross-functionally to develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate creative strategies that mirror our company's values and business objectives
  • Managing and maintaining the company's brand standards and guidelines
  • Ensuring visuals, messaging, and interactive elements of a project are properly aligned with the creative vision and brand standards
  • Planning and managing the creative design and production of all corporate and marketing communications materials
  • Managing and mentoring a team of graphic designers, photographers, videographers, copywriters, and other media production specialists who are integral to completing creative projects
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to leverage their expertise and resources
  • Overseeing the development and ongoing management of a creative department calendar
  • Directing the development and ongoing improvement of internal processes that lead to the successful completion of creative projects
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of skills and developments in creative, employee, and customer engagement to foster ideas and innovation
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to translate brand strategy and business goals and objectives into multi-channel, compelling creative campaigns
  • Experience with photo and video shoots, video production, designing for large-scale and tradeshow events, and post-production editing and approval processes
  • Proven history of leading, inspiring, and coaching creative teams
  • Ability to design and art-direct clear and compelling content for corporate and marketing communications and collateral across all channels, especially email marketing, web, social media, PowerPoint presentations, event collateral, advertising, and print production
  • Ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively
  • Ability to communicate design thinking and process to clients and colleagues
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to champion teamwork to maintain positive, collaborative relationships
  • Strong organizational, time management, project management, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Naturally proactive with the ability to anticipate needs and think strategically
  • Self-directed, able to take full ownership of projects, work independently and oversee departmental needs
  • Ability to deliver quality materials with meticulous attention to detail and proofing
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • MAC literacy is required
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, graphic design, creative writing, or a related creative field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in creative services, with at least four years of providing creative direction and leadership to an in-house team or third-party agency
  • Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates strategic, conceptual, and creative thinking
  • Experience managing agency partners and creative vendors
