The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) conducts evidence-based direct services, research, and training to positively impact individuals with autism spectrum disorders, their families, and the community.
Position Overview
This is a senior-level Behavior Technician position requiring advanced training and experience providing direct and indirect services to clients with autism under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Sr. Behavior Technician (SBT position is responsible for coordinating with the BCBA to conduct daily program maintenance activities, including data analyses of programming and assessments, implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures, and documenting and reporting outcomes. SBTs will recommend specific courses of action to the Behavior Analyst and may independently conduct parent training/update meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or graduate courses in special education, applied behavior analysis, child development/psychology or related major and a 2 years' of experience providing direct services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
