RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is hiring a Security Technologist 1 for an enterprise client based in Mountain View, CA.Summary:The main function of a Security Technologist 1 is to be responsible for system administration of core systems as well as monitoring and compliance of our teams' variety of computing systems. They will ensure security compliance deadlines are met and communicate to the team any planned impact and policy changes.Job Responsibilities:- Plans and provides wide ranging system administration in a multi-platform environment
- Interprets and implements security guidance on a quarterly planning cadence based on changing business needs
- Performs weekly checks on security KPIs and communicates remediation plans with team members owning the impacted resources
- Assists team members with any access or permissions issues and finds solutions to blockers that are both security compliant and meet team requirements
- Communicates changes (ex: config changes, policy changes, infrastructure changes) to the team with a timeline and impact statement
- Responsible for general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, security updates, urgent system patching
- Writes and implements scripts to automate tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience with Azure
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience with network troubleshooting
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience with security access rights management
- Proven work experience as a system or network administrator
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
