About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Team Manager to lead and inspire our Business Development Representatives (SDRs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the success of our outbound lead generation efforts, managing the SDR team, and collaborating with other departments to optimize the sales process.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Train individuals on SDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
- Ensure SDR Team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s
- Plan for hiring and onboarding new SDR.
- Work closely with the Demand Gen team to provide feedback on Marketing and campaigns
- Work closely with Sales and other members of the SDR Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
- Work closely with cross functional teams to identify areas of improvement for the SDR Teams
- Work in collaboration with Content, Marketing Program Managers, and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging to convert inbound interest into qualified pipeline
- Accurately forecasts weekly, monthly, quarterly attainment
Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of experience managing a SDR/Sales team
- Bachelor's degree (Business or Supply Chain is a plus)
- Prior logistics/supply chain experience required
Preferred Qualifications - Experience selling into C-Suite and to Executive Leadership preferred
- Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams, preferably in an outbound lead generation environment
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of driving results
- Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical product - leadership experience is highly preferred
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
