Job Description

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and perform multiple cell-based potency assays requiring long term sterile culturing.
  

• Perform standard analytical methods such as, UV spectrophotometry, cell counting methods, microscopy and cell imaging.
  

• Support analytical method validation for new products
  

• Document test results and report abnormalities to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with cGMP and GDP.
  

• Follows established SOPs accurately
  

• Troubleshoot instruments and assays with limited guidance
  

• Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the team and department meetings.
  

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Strong background in sterile technique and cell culture, preferably with BSL2 experience
  

• Strong pipetting skills and understanding of cGMP concepts and practice.
  

• Strong computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication (oral and written) skills.
  

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  

• Ability to work independently once trained
  

• Solid organization, scientific, computational, communication and interpersonal skills
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  

• 3-6 years of relevant experience
