Responsibilities Include:
Perform a variety of molecular, cellular, and biological research techniques and procedures including cell culture, PCR and Western analysis, peripheral blood processing and Natural Killer cell isolation, extracellular vesicle isolation, and flow cytometry
Record, consolidate and assist with analysis of research results
Assist in evaluating validity of data obtained from experimental procedures
Oversee and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities
Assist with training of undergraduate and graduate students in research methods and equipment operation
Set up and operates laboratory equipment
Monitor research supply, including specimens, inventory and initiates procurement requests as needed.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelors degree in a biological/health science or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge in the conduct of biological/health science research
Requires successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidates may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
Salary range for this position: $17.31 - $22.77 hourly

By the start of employment, all newly hired employees must receive at least the first dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of a one-dose series COVID-19 vaccination. Individuals who choose a two-dose series vaccination must receive the second dose within 45 days of their start date. Proof of vaccination will be required at time of hire.
