At Meta Reality Labs (RL), we're developing the future of augmented reality. As a Research Technical Program Manager, you are a critical member of a multidisciplinary team contributing to our efforts to gain a scientific understanding of human and machine perception; translating it into the ultimate AI and AR experience for our users. You will work closely with a team of engineers in Reality Labs Research to build research hardware like Project Aria (https://www.projectaria.com/). Project Aria is a research tool which accelerates Meta's machine perception and AI learnings from a human. You are accountable for timely and efficient execution of technical programs at quality. To be successful, your goal is to accelerate development by eliminating barriers to your team's success, clearly communicating results to all stakeholders and ensuring that the big picture and long term strategy remains in focus while going deep as you manage the project day to day.
Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. When Facebook launched in 2004, it changed the way people connect. Apps like Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp further empowered billions around the world. Now, Meta is moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality to help build the next evolution in social technology. People who choose to build their careers by building with us at Meta help shape a future that will take us beyond what digital connection makes possible today-beyond the constraints of screens, the limits of distance, and even the rules of physics.
