SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Research Coordinator to support various functions for community-based, grant-funded research studies in the Section of Adolescent Medicine focused on HIV-related health inequities. The Research Coordinator will participate in meetings and trainings; assist with participant recruitment via social media and community outreach; consent and enroll participants; conduct study visits; and document study activities. The incumbent will also serve as a peer health educator for a multi-site study to improve HIV prevention and treatment engagement among Black, Indigenous, and other transgender and non-binary youth of color. The peer health educator delivers one-on-one and group sessions and provides navigation assistance for community resources, health care and insurance access for intervention participants and other agency clients. They will complete a health-harming legal needs screener with participants and work with collaborating attorneys. It is anticipated that the peer health educator will work on other program development, implementation, and evaluation activities for the study, as needed.

* Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience with human subject research administration including recruitment and in-depth interviews or assessments.* 2 years directly related experience working with transgender and nonbinary youth and young adults of color, and demonstrated connections with agencies serving the LGBTQ+ community.
* A meaningful relationship with local LGBTQ+ communities and investment in the communities' wellness.
