Summary:
Oversees the operation, growth and development for Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities:
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols. Ensures program adherence to CMS, AACVPR and JCAHO regulations and guidelines.Collaborates with Director and department supervisors toward the mission and goals of the department. Assists director in monthly operating reports in CR/PR.Oversees the referral process and daily operations of inpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services.Participates in the growth and development of the referral process into outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab: interdepartmental networking, physician outreach, ambulatory outpatient CR/PR referral orders managementProvides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to cardiac and pulmonary rehab staff. Performs annual appraisals, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments. Facilitates staff education opportunities toward professional and departmental growth.Coordinates and oversees student internship program in Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Medical Fitness department.Oversees the daily operations and patient care of outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services.

Additional Job Information:
