The Reference Librarian provides reference services to law faculty, students and staff of the law school, as well as university patrons and members of the public. This position assumes law faculty liaison responsibilities for assigned law faculty, and develops guides, tutorials and develops and deliver legal research presentations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Please note that minimum educational and experiential requirements may not be changed once defined and agreed upon by the department, and the position has been posted for recruitment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: (Note: Only the following two criteria-one education and one experience-will be used for screening qualified applicants.)
1. Master's degree in library and information science2. J.D. degree
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY: (Note: The following criteria will not be used in screening qualified applicants but may be considered in the final decision-selection process of candidates interviewed.)

1. Law library experience2. Familiarity with Innovative Interfaces integrated library system3. Knowledge of a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
