CCI-FSS has the resources to provide specialty trades self-performance in the execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure construction, repair, and upgrade.

Responsibilities
- Perform and validate inspections
- Ensures evaluation methods provide systematic and equitable reviews appropriate to the service, including methods for determining acceptability/non acceptability of infrastructure and installed components.
- Submits documentation of findings to Builder SMS database.
- Conducts feasibility studies to determine if government property is properly maintained and used in accordance with current real property category codes (CATCODE's).
- Interprets shop drawings, as-builts, blueprints and diagrams as needed in order to perform assessments/inspections.
Minimum Qualifications - Facilities management or construction experience with knowledge base in mechanical, electrical, and other facility systems.
- Ability to identify major component types of systems and perform knowledge-based inspections (KBI's) to accurately reflect facility and infrastructure conditions and enters all data into the Sustainment Management System (SMS) system as required
- BUILDER or other Condition Assessment Program experience
- knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS's)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required with Power BI experience preferred.
Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Environment Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
