Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join their team in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to buyers and assist with various purchasing projects and administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
The schedule is Monday - Friday, with traditional hours and 100% on-site. Local candidate only!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt and processing of inbound shipments and materials.
- Monitor the Certificate of Analysis (COA) email inbox.
- Verify specifications on COAs and upload them to the M Drive.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of the cost book for the Home, Industrial & Institutional (HI&I) project.
- Conduct thorough lot reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Review and approve bills and invoices from warehouses.
- Process and manage inventory hold requests from Customer Service (CS) for orders.
- Obtain freight rates and coordinate the booking of trucks for shipments.
- Perform blackline reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Add and organize documents on the M Drive for the Purchasing Team.
- Potentially oversee the management of small, simple purchase orders (POs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with document management systems and M Drive is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
