Job Description
Project Manager; Full-Time; Days: Monday through Friday

Baltimore, MD

Under limited supervision, facilitates and manages departmental and organizational projects. Provides support and expertise in the planning, development and coordination of projects within the organization. Responsibilities include operationalizing project plans by gathering appropriate information, identifying and collaborating with key stakeholders, and synthesizing highly complex information. Independently develops systematic, sustainable processes and establishes their structural foundations. Serves as key resource for communication, project planning, data management, and process improvement initiatives.

Located in Baltimore's cultural center near the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, UMMC Midtown Campus is a 180-bed, community teaching hospital with a focus on helping people manage chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseases.

Qualifications
Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Construction or a related field required or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in communications, project management, etc., required. Healthcare setting preferred.
• Must possess project management certification from PMI or other accrediting agency or must obtain certification within 2 years.
