IT Project Manager

We are seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Project Manager to assist the Lead Project Manager in a large-scale laptop device transition initiative. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless progression of the project, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining comprehensive project records. They may also lead specific segments of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Project Manager in organizing, implementing, and completing the laptop transition project.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery and setup of new devices.
• Maintain detailed project records, including timelines, meeting notes, and progress reports.
• Monitor key project milestones and outcomes to ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving during the transition period.
• Update the Lead Project Manager and other key stakeholders on project progress and issues.
• Assist with training workshops and support users with the new laptops as needed.
• Perform additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, computer science, or a related field, or at least two years of relevant experience in project management or a similar area.
• Minimum of two years of experience in release or project management roles, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines within established timeframes.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining actionable, realistic, and measurable action plans that align with project goals.
• Ability to operate effectively in uncertain situations, quickly learn new information independently, and achieve results proactively.
• General PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office, with intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint design for executive audiences.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams to complete tasks.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of two years' experience in healthcare, business, computer science, or related fields.
• Ability to influence and support relationships across various geographical areas and levels of understanding regarding organizational processes and policies.
• Strong planning, prioritization, organization, and task completion skills to meet predefined objectives.
• Clear and concise communication of ideas.
• Strong organizational abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven history of effective team participation.
• Track record of executing with excellence, setting deliberate goals, and achieving them by making smart decisions while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• High degree of emotional intelligence and confidence.
