Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Management Specialist 3
Work Location: El Segundo, CA

Shifts: First

Contract role

Onsite/remote/hybrid: 100% onsite

Clearance: TS/SCI

Position Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of scheduling concepts (predecessor/successor logic, critical path, etc.); familiar with Agile development and able to integrate into IMS framework
• Report (document and brief) weekly and monthly status, variance, and metrics to program management
• Track progress of cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Lead quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) assessment and updates
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

***This position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3-years of experience with EVMS

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Familiar with Agile Development Processes & JIRA

TOP 3-5 MUST HAVE REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-years of experience with EVMS (Is there a particular system you prefer or any you can recommend/nice to haves) Any system
• 3+ years of Strong understanding of scheduling concepts (predecessor/successor logic, critical path, etc.); familiar with Agile development and able to integrate into IMS framework.
• Report (document and brief) weekly and monthly status, variance, and metrics to program management
• Track progress of cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Lead quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) assessment and updates

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Familiar with Agile Development Processes & JIRA (min years of experience) preferred

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
