Basic Job Functions:

• Supports the design, manufacturing and installation process for industrial racking projects through the creation and management of documentation within the D365 ERP system and Sharepoint document repository.
  • Assist in procuring, tracking, and receiving third-party buyouts. Including but not limited to reviewing purchasing agreements, generating schedules, and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Collaborates with other departments to execute and monitor budgets for assigned projects.
  • Coordinates, manages, and communicates all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion within available budget.
  • Attends planning and development meetings necessary to ensure full understanding of project requirements.
• Basic ability of reviewing construction style project drawings and engineering requirement forms.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• 2+ years' experience with supporting cross-functional team in industrial manufacturing, construction, or material handling industries as a project engineer, coordinator, project manager or similar role.
• Strongly organized, understands how to prioritize and work with urgency when required.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a POD team model.
• Experience with supporting cross-functional team in industrial manufacturing, construction, or distribution industries.
• Skilled communicator with solid grasp of language and grammar.
• Understands the dynamics and importance of a team mentality.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Potential traveling to project sites. (< 10%)
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

• Bilingual-English/ Spanish, preferred.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
