RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement and Inventory Control Specialist in Chantilly, VA.Responsibilities:Procurement:- Purchase NSF-owned IT hardware assets based on organizational needs, including workstations and mobile devices
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms, considering warranty and replacement costs
- Ensure procurement activities align with organizational policies, budgets, and the technical refresh cycle
- Track and manage purchase orders and delivery schedules using ServiceNow
- Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate performance
- Monitor and manage NSF-owned IT hardware inventory levels, including bench stock
- Conduct regular physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Manage stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking, particularly in the IT Service Desk workspace
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reports using ServiceNow
- Coordinate with procurement and asset management teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 1 year of experience; Or High School diploma/GED and 7 years of experience
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software, including 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or inventory control
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Effective written and oral communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
