About The Program
Our After Hours Call Program aims to provide virtual visits, telephonic support, and clinical guidance to our patients when our primary care practices aren't open (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays). This program was initially comprised of Advanced Practitioners, but due to expansion, we are now incorporating RNs into our model!

Position OverviewAre you a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking for an opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home? We are seeking experienced, autonomous APPs to field calls and conduct virtual visits within a clinically appropriate scope. All of our clinical staff members have access to Schmitt-Thompson triage guidelines/protocols, as well as comprehensive patient information via our fully-integrated EMR system, Epic.
ScheduleRight now, we are looking for weekend coverage. We predict there is also possibility for expanded hours/ability to pick up additional shifts in the future. The shifts are 8 hours in duration between the hours of 8:00am-9:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Please note - per diem employees are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per month to maintain their employment status. These 16 hours must be on weekend shifts.
Expectations for Remote WorkDue to the remote nature of the role, we ensure that our employees receive required technology and training to be proficient and independently productive in all job responsibilities regardless of work location. Employees are responsible for designating a workspace within the remote work location that is private, safe, ergonomic, and free from distractions for all hours worked.
Qualifications Education• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program with a Master's degree
Licensure• Required: Current Massachusetts state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - New Hampshire state license preferred
Experience• Preferred: 5+ years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a primary care, urgent care, or emergency department strongly preferred
