We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments Operations team at Mercer as the Organizational Design (OD) Implementation Leader to support the development of, and drive the implementation of, organizational changes across multiple geographies.
This role will be based in Boston or New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is a two-year fixed-term role to align with the program of work associated with a multi-year digital transformation program across Mercer Investments. The role will report to Global Head of Transformation & Change - Mercer Investments.
We will count on you to:
- Create and update plans to manage the implementation of organizational design changes, including identifying key milestones, activities, owners, and timelines
- Lead and coordinate implementation activities and interventions to increase awareness, willingness, and readiness for organizational design changes, using structured methodology and processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and change programs, working collaboratively with others
- Ensure that organizational and transformation goals are integrated into the organizational design implementation activities and communications
- Support the development of communications relevant to organizational design changes, using a variety of channels and mediums
- Identify and evaluate the impact of organizational design changes on different stakeholder groups, providing feedback to senior leaders on the effectiveness of the changes
- Define success metrics in alignment with organizational goals, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in increasingly senior roles, successfully designing and implementing organizational design changes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Deep understanding of organizational design principles, techniques, and tools
- Experience in developing strategies to minimize resistance to organizational design changes
- Strong experience in developing effective communication strategies for organizational changes
- Ability to work collaboratively with and influence people from all levels and functions within the organization
- Effective facilitation skills for workshops, meetings, and internal forums
- Ability to navigate conflict and apply negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $126,000 to $252,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
