Baer is looking for Oracle Conversion Developer for a 12-month Federal remote project.

Title: Oracle Conversion Developer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Description:

• Develop, implement, and support customizations within Oracle Cloud applications, including HCM Cloud (Core HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management) and ERP Cloud (PPM, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
• Design, develop, and maintain OTBI Reports, BI Publisher Reports, and other reporting solutions to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects or performance issues identified during testing phases.
• Lead and participate in the conversion of legacy applications to Oracle Cloud solutions, ensuring smooth migration of data and processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data conversion.
• Create technical design documents detailing the solution architecture, design, and implementation steps for cloud-based systems and reports.
• Ensure all work is thoroughly documented for ongoing support and knowledge transfer.
• Develop and enhance custom solutions using App Composer, Groovy scripts, and tools like APEX and VBCS (Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service).
• Work independently or collaboratively to design and implement effective solutions.
• Work effectively as part of a development team, engaging in both independent and team-based tasks.
• Provide ongoing support to business users and technical teams, troubleshooting and fixing any defects or issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Oracle Cloud development, with a focus on Oracle HCM Cloud (Core HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management) and Oracle ERP Cloud (Project Portfolio Management, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Asset, Cash Management).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Reports Development, including OTBI Reports and BI Publisher Reports.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise reporting and data warehousing.
• Solid understanding of App Composer, Groovy scripts, APEX, and VBCS development.
• Strong experience with legacy to cloud application conversions, including data migration, testing, and troubleshooting.
