  • Must be available to work up to 19 hours per week during regular business hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Evening and Weekend hours may be assigned for events and meetings.
  • Temporary position, end of assignment 08/31/2025.

Job Summary:

This position will help develop and implement training and education initiatives for the student organization community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Training and Education

  • Assist with development and implementation of training and education initiatives
  • Online module development and maintenance for advisors and student org leaders
  • In-person training initiatives
  • Develop and host in person training initiatives
  • Assist in development and implementation of an advisor manual for the RSO community
Events and Programming
  • Assist in New Maverick Orientation planning and event execution
  • Assist in execution of Activity Fair Days and Organization Fairs
  • Assist in preparing and executing Student Org Training Day and Summit
  • Facilitate I&E and Student Organizations presentations as needed
Attend meetings
  • Weekly 1:1 with professional staff supervisor
  • Bi-weekly Involvement & Engagement all-staff
  • Weekly Student Organizations
  • Provide front desk coverage to B160 office suite as necessary
Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and PDF
  • Professional and personal experience working in a various office or work setting.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of campus life/involvement & education curriculum development
