Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Software Developer our NYS Office of Cannabis Management Team located in Albany, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Analyze and interpret business rules and workflows for application
• design
• Work with business analysts to understand requirements and design,
• author, and develop business rules based on requirements using Oracle
• Intelligent Advisor formally known as Oracle Policy Automation (OPA).
• Debug and test Oracle Intelligent Advisor formally known as Oracle
• Policy Automation (OPA).
• Create new screens in Oracle Intelligent Advisor formally known as
• Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) including interview creation for new
• transactions.
• Develop new framework functionality for the NYBE Portal.
• Providing Application support and being on call as required
• Create documentation and share knowledge with team members.

Experience Required:

60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

• 80 months experience integrating business rules and developing systems using Oracle Intelligent Advisor formally known as Oracle Policy Automation (OPA), including deployment, testing, automation hub, modeling, and debugging
• 80 months of development experience with .NET; Java and J2EE or related programming experience
• 80 months of experience working with business analysts understanding requirements
• 80 months of Web Development experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
• 60 months of development experience in Oracle Service Cloud formally known as RightNow version 2012-current including RightNow Query Language, Custom Object Deployment, Workspace/WorkFlow Development, Agent Scripting, Custom Process Model, Business Rules, Add-ins, Widgets, and experience with developing in a Multi-Site Environment.
• 80 months experience in using Oracle Intelligent Advisor formally known as Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) for developing online transactions for New York Business Express (NYBE) Portal

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $46.00 and $56.00
