NPD Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the NPD warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, distribution, and inventory management. The NPD Warehouse Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the daily operations of the skid lot, including the planning, receiving and storage of pallets. This role requires strong organizational skills, communication skills and attention to detail. The NPD Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing and improving the processes related to external operations.
What You'll be doing
- Ensure that the NPD warehouse operates at peak efficiency - with customer satisfaction the primary goal - by organizing, establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Manage the warehouse to support day-to-day new product development initiatives and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Work closely with the NPD planner to ensure parts are available to support new product builds.
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics related to new product inventory, skids lots and outside operations.
- Review and prepare workflows, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and internal customer service.
- Oversee various aspects of outside operation components, ensuring inventory levels at various location and inventory accuracy of outside ops components in warehouse is maintained.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
- Consistently demonstrate company values and expected behaviors.
- Responsible for the maintenance of skid lot.
- Responsible for quarterly cycle counts on NPD Inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management and warehousing.
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
- License to operate a forklift preferred.
- Experience and proficiency in JDE preferred
