Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Support Specialist to join our Cancer Therapies team. This role is integral to supporting and advancing our MR in Radiation Therapy (RT) initiatives, focusing on customer engagement, clinical optimization, and product marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for MR Simulation (MR Sim) customers post-applications training.
    • Address clinical questions and assist with optimization to ensure effective utilization of MR Sim technology.
    • Partner with applications and global headquarters to continually refine implementation strategies and customer education plans for MR Sim.
  • Reference Site Management, Demonstration, & Tradeshows:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key clinical staff physicians, physicists, and technologists.
    • Identify the clinical strengths of each site.
    • Act as champion for demo sites.
    • Ensure Siemens supports demo site with all the tools for their specific clinical disciplines, while adhering to Compliance guidelines.
    • Host demo site visits.
    • Presentation of hardware / software features.
    • Coach / consult PSEs on best choice for demo visits.
    • Help coordinate all the logistics with headquarters for site visits.
  • Clinical Feedback and Best Practices:
    • Consolidate feedback from customers regarding protocols and utilization.
    • Develop best practice and consensus documents based on customer feedback to share with future installations.
  • Clinical Marketing and Proof Points:
    • Conduct clinical marketing studies with MR Sim customers to highlight the unique value proposition of MR in RT.
    • Generate clinical marketing content such as case studies and proof points to support the effectiveness of MR Sim technology.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful clinical marketing materials.
  • Product and Implementation Strategy:
    • Partner with applications and global headquarters to optimize the implementation strategy.
    • Develop and update customer education plans to ensure effective use and integration of MR Sim in clinical workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with state-of-the-art MAGNETOM systems or in a similar clinical MR role.
  • Extensive knowledge of MR applications, particularly in radiation therapy.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and act as a clinical advisor.
  • Strong clinical marketing skills, with experience generating case studies and proof points.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clinical and marketing content.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% throughout AMS.

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge in the field of MR in RT and a strong track record of successful project execution.
  • Acts as an advisor to top management and business partners on advanced technical matters.
  • Represents the company as the primary external contact for clinical MR products in cancer therapy.

The pay range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is 15% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
