Position Summary
Responsible for the overall management of the Logistic Analysts, Import Rail Billing and Export Rail Billing for the US. Provides guidance and support to supervisors and team members. Implements and manages process improvement efforts to reduce service failures and increase productivity. Analyzes operational and performance data and trends to guide decision making. Ensures elevated service delivery issues are resolved. Monitors workload and staffing levels to ensure resources are efficiently allocated. Responsible for implementing and managing cost saving initiatives and analyzing operational spend to identify cost saving opportunities. Reviews and approves accounts payable invoices. Collaborates proactively with other internal departments, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and improve service quality.

Functions & Duties

• Works with Supervisors to establish goals and set clear expectations
• Delegates tasks and provide guidance and support
• Provides ongoing feedback related to employee performance
• Communicates changes to company/departmental policy and procedures
• Ensures subordinates adhere to company policy and procedures
• Oversees and manages staffing and workload levels to ensure efficient resource allocation
• Communicates with truck, rail and barge vendors to ensure adequate service levels are maintained
• Provides feedback to Procurement related to Intermodal trucker and vendor performance
• Works collaboratively with other department managers to resolve current and potential issues/hold-ups
• Generates and analyzes weekly and monthly KPIs
• Identifies, implements, and manages strategies to improve operational performance
• Implements and manages cost savings initiatives
• Oversees the monitoring and management of Intermodal Team Mailboxes, the Customer Services Workspace Dashboards in FootPrints, and other Intermodal applications and databases
• Analyzes operational data and trends in order to guide decision making
• Analyzes operational spend to identify cost savings opportunities
• Analyzes service failures to determine root causes and identify methods to eliminate similar issues going forward
• Reviews and approves AP invoices

Qualifications/Education
Indicate the minimum and preferred education and experience required to successfully perform the functions of this position.

Vocational or Technical Diploma Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
