Job Title: MEP Superintendent

Location: Dallas, Texas

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 plus benefits

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems on large-scale construction projects, particularly in the K-12 sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either subcontractor or general contractor roles, with proven project experience exceeding $100 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage MEP construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate MEP installations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, submittals, and change orders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP construction management, with at least 3 years in a superintendent role.
• Experience with projects over $100 million, preferably in the K-12 education sector (ideal but not required).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in construction management software and tools.
