SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

To perform duties under the direction of the Shift Supervisor or designee in a safe and professional manner and efficiently complete the duties listed below.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a Forklift in a safe and responsible manner.
  
• Read and understand all operational and safety rules and guidelines provided during Forklift License Training.
  
• Operate both fork and clamp attachments.
  
• Transport Finished Goods and Raw Materials as directed.
  
• Load and unload semi trailers and complete/assist with the necessary paperwork and communications as directed.
  
• Understand and use all scanning equipment required to perform job.
  
• Maintain and update status of inventory information through scans, written or logged as necessary. Lift and carry containers as needed.
  
• Lift and carry packaging such as pallets, shrinkwrap etc as needed.
  
• Communicate in a professional manner with supervisor, coordinators & co-workers as necessary.
  
• Assist other departments as needed.
  
• Perform other duties as directed.

EDUCATION:

Required: High School or GED

EXPERIENCE:

Preferred: Worked in manufacturing

SKILLS:

Required:

• Obtain or be able to obtain a Forklift Driver's License
  
• Possess proficient mathematic and grammar skills
  
• Able to lift and load containers of boxes as required up to 30lbs
  
• Good verbal and organizational skills
