RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manager, Financial Shared Services in Chantilly, VA.Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:- Develop and manage the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
- Oversee cost accounting and allocation of expenses to contracts
- Ensure compliance with the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and requirements
- Manage internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to government contracting
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a government contracting environment
- Proven experience with financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, CAS, and FAR
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
