Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Drive marketing performance by providing insights from data across all facets of marketing initiatives of Walmart's B2B division. Work with Business, Product, Design, Technology, and Data teams to understand business objectives, develop hypotheses, identify functional analytics, and drive strategic initiatives. Define, develop, and communicate KPIs (Key Performing Indicators) and business trends to management level stakeholders, including providing visibility on marketing performance. Develop and implement prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms using SQL, Python, and R to inform strategic and operational decision-making. Design data models and develop data pipelines that will extract, transform, and load (ETL) marketing and advertising data to create aggregated tables to perform statistical analyses. Develop complex and scalable SQL queries and scripts using Google Cloud Platform and Hive architecture to query large data sets and automate analytics solutions at scale. Design and develop interactive self-serve dashboards and data visualization using tools such as Tableau, R Shiny, and/or Looker to help leadership make data-driven decisions. Design and conduct A/B and multi-variate tests by developing test plans, defining success metrics, and analyzing and transforming data into actionable insights. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics (any), or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Experience developing ETL data pipelines using Python and R to aggregate data from various sources and build centralized tables and views. Experience designing, operationalizing, and maintaining self-serve dashboards using Tableau or Looker. Experience developing SQL queries to conduct data analysis using multiple data sources across Google BigQuery and Hive. Experience analyzing marketing related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and providing product recommendations to enhance customer experiences, user journeys, and conversions. Experience designing A/B and Multivariate tests for conducting experiments to enhance customer experience, user journeys, and conversions. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $112,655/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
