As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, pumps, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on complex processes and packaging equipment.
• Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, but routinely require advanced technical expertise
• Responsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment.
• Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees (e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.), and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
• Train production employees as needed for set-ups, operation of all equipment, etc.
• Participate in projects and/or rebuilds.
• Responsible for food safety as well as meeting all regulatory requirements.
• Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups,

The ideal Maintenance Technician must have:

• High School or vocational school diploma
• Vocational school, Industrial maintenance degree, technical college training, satisfactory completion of formal apprentice program, preferred
• Ability to read and understand manuals, line diagrams and schematics, required
• Ability to identify and analyze a situation and to make frequent technical decisions based on specifications required
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PLC control panels, and Maintenance Work.
• Working on pumps and gearboxes
• Exposed to voltages up to 480.
• Ability to work at high heights, ie. on roofs, aerial lifts, elevated platforms, up to 50 feet while wearing fall protection and proper PPE

Pay Rate: $ 30.00 to $37.00

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
